Thesis abstract: 

The thesis tries to restore the hypothetical biography of the three namesakes: Kyron of Kartli, Kyros of Phasis and Kyros of Alexandria, arguing the identity of the three. Besides it tries to reevaluate the emergence of Monotheletism, suggesting that Kyros of Alexandria might be the initiator of the Monothelite controversy, by introducing Antiochean elements into the doctrine.
