Medieval Studies Postdoc Wins Harvard Fellowship

Réka Forrai, Department of Medieval Studies alumnus (MA ’01, PhD ’08), has been awarded a fellowship at the world's most prestigious research center for Byzantine Studies, Harvard University’s Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collection in Washington, DC, for the academic year 2010/11.

Forrai, who currently holds a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Edinburgh’s Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, will pursue her research project, "The Papacy and the spread of Greek Learning to the Medieval West." CEU PhD candidate Florin Leonte (MA '07) also holds a junior fellowship at Dumbarton.
